According to the Belarusian head of government, the chemical industry shows great prospects in the economic development of the country.

Alexander Lukashenko met with his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev in Krasnaya Polyana on 23 January.

Among the awardees were workers, CEOs, cultural figures and artists, educators, the military, athletes, specialists of the services sector.

According to the head of state, this issue is not relevant for Belarus now as pensions are not big in the country.

“I am convinced that traditionally friendly relations between our states and the mutually beneficial Belarus-Georgia cooperation will keep growing stronger,” the felicitation message reads.

“We are now dealing with the fiscal imbalance (it is not even a crisis, it is imbalance of the financial system which led to devaluation of the ruble). I am sure that we will forget about these problems next year, even in the first half of the year,” the head of state said.

It is most likely that when joining the WTO Belarus will be guided by the tariffs that Russia will have agreed upon the accession to the Organization.

The draft documents discussed at the session prioritize social development.
